What has Influenced your career?
A lot of people and things in my life have influenced me. My family (my father especially) my huge line of mentors (Ben Edwards , Lon Bennette, Cliff Evans, Sean Karn, Gabe Cece and Dave Lukeson) also Tanane Whitfield for being an apprentice with me and always pushing me. surf artist Drew Brophy, my friends (Brad Orr, Steve Sakis, and Jason Lawyer). Friends in the industry that have taken me under their wing (Timmy B, Parry Chotripardit, and Chris51) Billy E. rest in peace. my sponsors. And who could forget my girlfriend/bestfriend.
What is your morning routine?
My alarm goes off and i reset it for another hour. Get outta bed, take a #1 or #2 or a combo of both. Let the dogs potty as i smoke. Then morning work out and finally get into the shower. Put on my birthday suit along with my eyelashes and maybe brush my teeth hahahahaha
If you could interview one person, who would it be and why?
Living person I would interview George Lucas because mans a fucking genius on a vast range of shit and I love me sum Star Wars! Dead person I would interview Salvadore Dali for all the obvious reasons
Best advise you can give a new apprentice:
Fuck off….. Hahaha well that’s what I was told when I started. Shit is not easy and I still feel like an apprentice so I guess i would say: Be a sponge. Be respectful. Go above and beyond and never stop learning. Swallow any pride or ego you have and appreciate this gift that can take you as far as you take it.
